Re State of Ohio v. James Lockridge
Case #: B 0806794
October 4, 2008
The location of this crime is the heart of West Price Hill’s business district. It is heavily traveled by pedestrian and vehicle traffic. Mr. Lockridge’s behavior shows wanton disregard for a valued Price Hill business, the employees and patrons of said business, Price Hill residents, and the Price Hill community. The impact of this type of criminal behavior on our neighborhood is immeasurable but severe. It leaves in its wake vacated businesses and homes. Businesses, their patrons and residents no longer want to live and work in fear so they leave. Blight and falling property values result. We invite you to visit our historic community and see for yourself. We will gladly give you a tour. It won’t take long to illustrate the negative impact.
Price Hill is asking the Court to give us and all of Cincinnati a break. Lock this defendant up. We want him out of Price Hill. Please do not victimize the Price Hill community again with a lenient sentence
Price Hill Court Watch is asking for a sentence of 15 years in the department of corrections with no possibility of early release
We are asking the Court to show no sympathy or leniency. Please be fair to the victims, the citizens you serve, and the community of Price Hill.
Respectfully submitted,
Price Hill Court Watch
