In April of 2008 the Court sentenced Alex Collins, control number 1910030, to three years of community service. Within two short months, while on felony probation Mr. Collins has picked up new felony charges. The new charges involve a weapon.
We are asking the Court to impose a prison terms as follow:
B 0805138 – Having a weapon under disability – we are asking for a prison term of 2 years
consecutive to the 12 months on case B 0710630
B 0710630 – trafficking in marijuana; For the probation violation on this case we are asking for the
12 month promised during sentencing for any probation violation
If the Court deems community control an appropriate sentence (which we oppose) we ask that it be no less than 5 years and we ask you to impose these additional conditions for the full term of the ordered probation:
According to arrest documents the defendant lives at 6036 Elbrook Av., 45237. This is a Roselawn/Golf Manor address. We ask you to impose a stay away order from Price Hill unless he is in the area for employment. If he is in Price Hill for employment reasons we ask you to issue a stay away order for all non-employment times.
a curfew from 9pm to 6am
Mr. Collins was ordered to stay away from Over - The – Rhine as a condition of his probation. Now he has become Price Hill’s problem. We don’t want him in Price Hill. Alex Collins is a blight and menace to society.
We are asking you to protect Price Hill and Price Hill residents.
