Donte McKinney is charged with possession of cocaine and 2 counts of trafficking cocaine near Elder High School.
Drugs… have contributed to the plight of historic Price Hill.
Drug offenses in Price Hill between 2003 to 2006 were up 3%. During that same period, the City of Cincinnati experienced a 14% increase. During that period, 5% of all drug offenses in the City of Cincinnati occurred in Price Hill. Along with these statistics, it is a proven fact drugs contribute to much of the other crime in a community. As evidence of this, in Price Hill aggravated assaults are up 18%, burglaries are up 32%, robberies are up 31%, and weapons offenses are up 12%.
Price Hill residents have had enough! Price Hill is a victim. Crime has resulted in an overall decline in our quality of life, our sense of wellbeing, and our property values.
Along with the current charges, Donte McKinney was on community control for case B 0604636 at the time of the current offense resulting in a probation violation. The defendant was advised during sentencing that a violation would result in incarceration for 5 years in the Department of Corrections.

Because of the defendant’s history, past unsuccessful attempts at rehabilitation, and for the protection of the citizens of Price Hill and all of Cincinnati, Price Hill Court Watch is seeking a sentence of 6 years in the Ohio Department of Corrections for the current case. Along with this sentence, we are asking you to impose the 5 years associated with B 0604636 and for these 5 years to run consecutive to the sentence on case B 0704805 – for an aggregate sentence of 11 years.
