Re State of Ohio v. Ronald Burgin
Case #: B 0606107 and B 0606381
September 23, 2006
Ronald Burgin is charged with Burglary (F4) and with Escape (F1). Burglary is the type of crime which makes community members feel unsafe about there own homes. Escape from custody indicates that the accused has little respect for law and will do anything to avoid justice. The community of Price Hill is being victimized by criminals who have no respect for the law and whose actions make residents feel on safe.
The crimes Mr. Burgin is charged with could lead to a maximum sentence of 11.5 years in prison. We feel that a substantial prison sentence is necessary to protect the community from Mr. Burgin and to send a message to others who might commit such crimes. We ask that after conviction that you seek a sentence of incarceration for at least 5 years. We also ask to be consulted before any possible plea bargain or if there are any unique circumstances in this cases which might lead you to ask for a lesser sentence.
Members of Price Hill Court Watch will be in court to support you. We appreciate your efforts on our behalf.
Respectfully,
Price Hill Court Watch
