Re State of Ohio v. Crystal Hart
Case #: B 0602322-A
April 9, 2006
As I am sure you are aware, the last several year have been marked by a drastic increase in felony crime in the community of Price Hill. Much of this crime is closely associated with drug activity. This has resulted in many long-term residents leaving the area. Many of the residents who remain are afraid to go about their normal daily activities and feel that they are being held hostage by crime. The residents of Price Hill are working diligently to reverse this pattern of crime and to restore our neighborhood to a safe and inviting community. To accomplish this the Price Hill Court Watch program formed. We are seeking the stiffest possible sentences for those who are convicted of drug crimes and violence in our neighborhood.
The defendant Crystal Hart satisfies this criteria. She is indicted on charges of trafficking in cocaine and possession. The other aspect of these offenses is their proximity to one of the local elementary schools. We are asking that she be given the maximum possible sentence for these crimes. We are also asking that the defendant be ordered to stay away from all schools in Price Hill
Price Hill Court Watch is asking that the defendant be sentenced to the stiffest possible sentence for the four counts associated with case number B 0602322-A.
Respectfully Submitted,
